Era da un pò di tempo che me l'ero segnata avendo visto un report di salita. Oggi ero con Andrea Concini che era da molto tempo che non vedevo. Avvicinamento molto comodo dalla Val Nambrone e Segantini poi alla base della est della Presanella su da questa via di poco più di 400m di dislivello. Per uscire ci è toccato superare un'altissima cornice con un traverso.
In discesa il primo pezzo è molto ripido (più di 50°), Andrea inanella le prime curve sicuro un breve trtto a scaletta per delle roccette affioranti e poi giù a bomba fino ad oltre metà canale. Poco dopo lo seguo e mi godo una delle più belle sciate della stagione. Le condizioni erano veramente il massimo linea tutta collegata e neve super, ci siamo proprio divertiti.
Al ritorno ci godiamo le facile discesa fino al Segantini poi in poco tempo siamo alla macchina soddisfatti per aver ottenuto una grande sciata con il minimo sforzo.
Per quanto riguarda la linea non so se è mai stata scesa con gli sci , cmq mi piacerebbe sapere almeno il nome esatto

Interessante e poco conosciuto canale che parte dalla Punta Campiglio, una delle numerose cime che compongono il complesso della cima Brenta.
Avvicinamento abb. lungo partiti da sopra il Passo CC Magno - Graffer - Tuckett - Punta Campiglio - Casinei - Spinale, più di 20 km con 2000m d+. (gps)
Comunque ne è valsa la pena, la neve nuova nel canale era prorio super , solo un pò poca come fondo In basso ci è toccato uscire dal canale per un breve tratto sulla sx (poi rientrati da un traverso) in quanto c'era un salto difficilmente superabile.(vedi video)
Anche l'ambiente merita molto sia in cima che nel canale.
Discesa top in 50cm di polvere, tolti gli sci solo 5 m e disarrampicato nel tratto di cui sopra. Qui sotto qualche foto, sotto video.

Back from a weekend of national mtbo competition. After coming back from the World Cup in Poland my energies was not at te top so in this weekend was not easy for me to find the right motivations. Anyway I managed to ride two solid and clean races without pushing myself at limit.
Saturday - Italian Cup Sprint
Very tricky race inside the wineyards, the map was not perfect and was really difficult to see the tracks marked on map in the terrain. I rode really slow stopping a lot of times. Anyway without mistakes. I ended second, 5 seconds behind Giaime Origgi.
Really tough race in a hard-rideable ground. My navigations was defenitely good, only a big mistakes of two minutes in the middle of the race. Giaime decided to not compete to save his foot and the other guys came to the finish with a lot of big mistakes, so for me it was quite easy to get the italian title, 9 minutes in front of Piero Turra. Bronze medal went to my little brother Roberto.
Canale Nord Cercen, classico e lungo ampio canale su questa interessante cima del Gruppo della Presanella, pendenze non proibitive tranne gli ultimi 100 che sono sui 50° (per tutte le info itinerario descritto in SCI RIPIDO IN VAL DI SOLE.)
The world cup season started. Before coming my goals were not so high but despite everything I managed to ride 3 stable races close to the top riders at the moment.
I 've never thought to get such a good mental shape only few weeks after my finger operations so I'm very surprised about the results I got there, expecially in the individual races.
Long mass start
On Friday there was the long distance mass start. The course was easy and the pace of the group was really high. I struggled a lot to keep the leading pace and in the end I lost some positions due to tiredness. Ended 13°-- 3.03min behind Jussi Laurila (FIN).
On Saturday the Middlle course was really muddy and a little bit more challenging technically. I rode all the time alone and despite my pace was not so high a no-maistake race let me hit the top ten with a 9 th place 2.49min behind Baptiste Fuchs (FRA).
In the relay I was with Piero and Laura. Before the start we knew that our chances for top positions were poor so we put Piero on the women first leg then me and Laura in order to stay in the lead as much as possible and to get visibility to our sponsors according to our coach Ivan. About me I was quite close to the best leg times. Piero did only half a race at high level and Laura is not totally recovered from her injury.We got a 7th nations place, nothing special.
Now I need some mental rest and some quality workouts beforte the next big event, Eurpean Championship in June in Portugal, for me the season is just started.
